For two weeks this month, Vans has brought a pop-up skate park to London's Strand, inviting beginners and pros alike to Skate the Strand and celebrate skating's inclusive culture and relevance in today's modern spaces.
Working in collaboration with Westminster City Council and Somerset House, Vans offered free skate lessons, pro demos, open public skate sessions and community talks, working to reinforce that skating can be enjoyed by all. A timely message, with skateboarding's debut in the the Olympics this year seeing the sport revitalised in the UK.
